Male Anatomy Drawing Model - Front by Gourmandhast Male Anatomy Drawing Model - Front by Gourmandhast
More Angles--
BACK: [link]
SIDE:[link]

Here is an image I made for anyone wanting to make a character sheet of their Male characters.

I use this as a guide when I want to sketch character concepts.

Print it out and simply put a paper over it and you can start drawing your character by using the lines from this image as a guide. That way you won't have to worry about what part of the body goes where. You just have to think of decorating it.

The face regions are as follow for those who feel confused:

Eyes/Brows: the top section is generally where the eyebrows will be and the bottom section will be the eyes region.

Nose: the bottom line in the nose region touches the bottom of the circle. That is where the tip of the nose must rest.

Lips: the top part of this section is where you will find the upper lip, and the bottom section will contain the lower lip.

Ears: this section tells you how big the ears should be.

Please submit this image to groups so it may help anyone in need!

I'm going to be making the Side and Back images.
Then I'll make the female model.

If you guys use this to draw, upload your art to deviantart and link it in the comments so I can see! I would love to see what people have done with it :)

Hope it helps :D Enjoy!

EDIT: modified the body so that both palms are facing the screen. When I release the the back of both hands will be facing the screen.

This is a very cool tool for artists. Thank you. Personally, I was searching for a fairly simple figure to show the proportions of my creature costumes. Ti is perfect! BTW, are you still woring on creating your mask. Let me know if you need advice.

Thanks dude! When you finish making a character with it share the link in the comments so I can see. Also I just checked your gallery and I'm going to need some tips on making a mask of The Red Hood from Batman. Gonna need to film a fight scene.

Ok i actually am going to go crazy with it and do a race chart i've been having trouble freehanding. You'll get a link later. As for the mask... hmm depends what you want to make it out of. It looks like you may want to go resin on it but it'll be a challenge since it covers so much of the head. Anything else and you may risk suffocating in rubber. Check out my buddy Mike's gallery. He does resin fiber glass masks that will last for a long time but they ain't cheap. At least cjeck it out to get an idea. If you need more tips send me a note.

I have heard of resin but I had no idea what it was. I have read about people making a Pepakura paper craft mask then applying resin on it. I'll be sure to send you a note when I finish my current projects. Thanks for the tips!

Resin is essentially liquid plastic... but can be many things different types of things have been used as resin... blah blah blah... mummies have resin on them... blah blah blah... nowadays it's usually a multipart liquid plastic that uses a chemical reaction (usually endothermic) to harden them in to solid plastic when mixed (quickly and thoroughly). There... your science and slight history lesson for the day :)
